Wine List

We don't create our wine list with the goal of winning awards. Instead, our wine list is created around you, our guests. As in all other areas of the Inn, we begin by asking, "What do our guests want?"

For wine, the answer is simple: A wine list that gives you opportunities. The choice between new experiences and old favorites. A world map.

The core of our wine list is a portrait of each major wine-producing area over the past decade, built around respected producers' best vintages. We strive to give you broad choices that you won't find on the shelf at your local wine store, at fair prices.

From there, we embellish with phenomenal, rare treasures for both the connoisseur and the adventurer, such as the Castello Banfi '97 and the Château de Beaucastel '01.  For special occasions, you'll find the wine list peppered with celebration bottles like the Krug '88. And in the back, biding their time, are a few world-class heavyweights such as the venerable Château Mouton Rothschilds.

We want to provide you with choices that will complement your meal, your company, your taste, your curiosity, and your celebration. It is because of this attention to detail that the Glasbern was awarded a 2011 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.
